created a new bridge at GSDI conference.
Interesting meeting during the Parallel session 4.9 Data standards for Global Map took place during the GSDI conference, organized and moderated by Chris Higgins from EDINA, Edinburgh University Data Library. Discussion with the secretary general of the International Steering Committee Mr. Youshikazu Fukushima bout the GlobalMap Specification and connection to the ESDIN project opened new perspectives for the project.
