ESDIN impacts so far

30 October, 2009

ESDIN project had it's first review meeting in Paris last week. For this meeting I tried to have a look on the impacts so far.

First of all number of people that are working in the project is amazing. 117 people from 20 partners are currently involved. In the project internal website we have over 1,5 Gb of documents created in the project.

After 1st year we have number of deliverables available. Some of them are still under development but we are looking forward to receive feedback on them. For example our quality model is now available for comments to our reference groups (go to www.eurogeoforum.eu and register to see forums).

Of course everything is not easy, we have had our part of surprises as well. People get sick and some work has been delayed but I think we are on a good track to continue.

Now it is time to start implementing the results to the services, which is exciting. Next coming year is the most important for the project.

I challenge now Lassi Lehto who is the WP 11 leader to share his thoughts with you in the next entry
